Abstract Title:
Deuterium-Depleted Water Influence on the IsotopeH/H Regulation in Body and Individual Adaptation.
Abstract:
This review article presents data about the influence of deuterium-depleted water (DDW) on biological systems. It is known that the isotope abundances of natural and bottled waters are variable worldwide. That is why different drinking rations lead to changes of stable isotopes content in body water fluxes in human and animal organisms. Also, intracellular water isotope ratios in living systems depends on metabolic activity and food consumption. We found theH/H gradient in human fluids (δH>δH>δH), which decreases significantly during DDW intake. Moreover, DDW induces several important biological effects in organism (antioxidant, metabolic detoxification, anticancer, rejuvenation, behavior, etc.). Changing the isotopeH/H gradient from"H>δH"to"δH

It can be a little intimidating to talk about CBD, but as CBD shops crop up across the country, we can’t hide from the topic anymore. Around the world, many praises the benefits of CBD and how it has changed their lives. Yet, the debate still rages on.
As someone who has lived with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) my entire life, I’ve been experimenting with different ways of managing my anxiety. Over the past year, I’ve discovered that thrill rides could be a form of therapy for me and many others. I’ve also started experimenting with different brands of CBD. I’ve seen how it has positively impacted the life of someone very close to me, and it has given me hope.
Still, I’m very new to this world and the last thing I want is to add to any confusion. For truly amazing articles on the subject, please check out the work of my fellow writers, Sara Brittany Somerset or Iris Dorbian. In the meantime, my goal is to provide some very basic information about CBD along with an overview of a variety of products.
To be clear, I’m not endorsing the use of cannabis or hemp — that’s a personal decision — but in honor of National CBD Day, let’s look at the wide scope of products that many have incorporated into their daily healthcare routines (read this article about how CBD topicals are helping seniors). As a note, always do your own research and verify the authenticity of any products you buy. Any reviews are not intended to be endorsements and should be seen as a personal opinion.

Abstract Title:
Effect of Paeonia lactiflora, a traditional Chinese herb, on migraines based on clinical application and animal behavior analyses.
Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Paeonia lactiflora (PL) was widely used for pain relief, but its effects on migraine headaches remain unclear.PURPOSE: The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of PL on migraine headaches.METHODS: First, we found that PL was frequently used in Taiwan for headache treatment based on data from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database. Migraine was induced through the intraperitoneal injection (i.p.) of nitroglycerin (NTG, 10 mg/kg) in rats. Pretreatment with PL was administered orally 30 min prior to the NTG i.p. Migraine headache behavior was observed by video-recordings. Finally, the rats were sacrificed and brain was removed for immunohistochemistry staining analysis.RESULTS: The frequency and total time spent rearing up and sniffing in exploratory behavior, and walking in locomotor behavior, were reduced in the NTG group compared with the control group (all p

Abstract Title:
Protective effects of ten oligostilbenes fromseeds on interleukin-1β-induced rabbit osteoarthritis chondrocytes.
Abstract:
Background: is an important traditional Chinese herb used to treat osteoarthritis (OA) and oligostilbenes are the main active ingredient of the seeds of. The monomer-resveratrol of this species was demonstrated to have chondroprotective effects as a lead compound for the treatment of osteoarthritis, but it has not been applied due to its low efficacy. Methods: Oligostilbenes were isolated by chromatography and were identified by NMR and HPLC. A rabbit osteoarthritis chondrocyte model was induced by interleukin-1β and was treated with individual drugs to systematically evaluate their effects. Cell Counting Kit 8 was used to test their effects on cell viability, calculate ECand plot a dose-response curve.Their effects on apoptosis were analyzed by Annexin V and PI staining, and the expression of chondrocyte-specific genes COL2A1, MMP13 and SOX9 was evaluated by real-time PCR.Results: seed extract could promote the cell viability of rabbit OA chondrocytes at low concentration and then ten oligostilbenes were isolated from it.-oligostilbenes were better than their-forms, trimers and dimers were better than monomers for promoting the cell viability of rabbit osteoarthritis chondrocytes. None of the oligostilbenes was more effective than seed extract at the appropriate concentration; 1 μM oligostilbenes all showed various anti-apoptotic effects.-gnetin H showed the best effect on proliferation and inhibition of MMP13 expression on OA chondrocytes, while-viniferin was most effective in promoting the expression of COL2A1 and SOX9.Conclusions: Ten oligostilbenes fromseed all have certain protective effects on OA chondrocytes at low concentration. The-viniferin and some trimers have the potential to be further developed for the treatment of osteoarthritis because they were more effective than resveratrol and diacerein. The synergistic effect that may exist between oligostilbenes also warrants further research.

Anti-inflammatory glycosides from the roots ofC. A. Meyer.
Abstract:
Three new phenolic glycosides, intermedia A-C (-), one new acyclic alcohol glycoside, intermedia D (), together with 3 known glycosides (-), were isolated from the dried roots ofC. A. Meyer. Their structures were established by means of extensive spectroscopic analysis (HRESIMS, NMR). Compoundhave a rare benzo[1,5]dioxepine skeleton. The bioassay results showed that compoundexhibited inhibitory activity against proinflammatory cytokines nitric oxide (NO) secretion in LPS-activated RAW264.7 cells with an ICvalue of 85.76 ± 1.36 μM.

Abstract Title:
Effect of paeoniflorin on cardiac remodeling in chronic heart failure rats through the transforming growth factorβ1/Smad signaling pathway.
Abstract:
Background: Cardiac remodeling is an important mechanism for the occurrence and development of chronic heart failure (CHF). Paeoniflorin (Pae) is the main active ingredient of Chinese herbaceous peony and has novel anti-inflammatory effect. This study was conducted to assess the effects and mechanisms of Pae on cardiac remodeling in CHF rats. Methods: A cardiac remodeling rat model was induced by isoprenaline (Iso). Pae (20µg/kg/d) was administrated to CHF rats for six weeks. Cardiac ultrasound was used to assess the structure and function of CHF rats. Collagen volume fraction (CVF) and perivascular collagen volume area of myocardial tissues were calculated. With real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot, the protein and mRNA levels of transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) and Smad3 were detected. Results: Compared to Iso group, Pae can alleviate cardiac remodeling and improve cardiac function in CHF rats. The levels of CVF and perivascular collagen volume area reduced in Pae group (P

Abstract Title:
Total glucosides of paeony (TGP) extracted from Radix Paeoniae Alba exerts neuroprotective effects in MPTP-induced experimental parkinsonism by regulating the cAMP/PKA/CREB signaling pathway.
Abstract:
ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: The totally-amounted glucosides of paeony (TGP), which are made up of paeoniflorin, albiflorin, oxypaeoniflorin as well as benzoylpaeoniflorin, constitute the Baishao' actively-working component extracted from Radix Paeonia alba employed in conventional oriental medicine aiming to treat cerebrovascular disorders, such as Parkinson's disease. However, its pharmacologic mechanism is not clear.AIM OF THE STUDY: The initial investigation was made on TGP's neuroprotective effects on PD of the mouse model based on 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) as well as the identification of potential involvement of a molecular signaling pathway.MATERIALS AND METHODS: The evaluation of the behavioral damage as well as neurotoxicity in mice was made through MPTP. Spontaneous motor activity test, as well as a test of Rota-rod on mice was employed for the measurement of bradykinesia symptom. Additionally, liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS-MS) works as the determiner of the main monoamine neurotransmitters dopamine (DA) along with its metabolites 3, 4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) as well as homovanillic acid (HVA) based on mouse hippocampus connected with the anti-Parkinson's disease like effect of TGP. Besides, the measurement of the effects of TGP treatment on the expressions level of TH, DAT, a-synuclein, p-CREBSas well as apoptosis influence was made with the help of western-blot assay with apoptosis-related markers such as Bax and Bcl-2.RESULTS: The results showed that TGP treatment lessened the behavior-based loss shown"in the spontaneous motor activity as well as the potential of falling to rotarod test". In addition, we found that pretreatment with TGP markedly improved motor coordination, striatal dopamine and its metabolite levels. Furthermore, pretreatment of TGP conducted the protection for dopaminergic neurons with the prevented MPTP-induced reductions within the tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), substantia nigra dopaminergic transporter (DAT), as well as increasingα-synuclein protein levels with transformed dopamine catabolism as well as inhibited dopamine turnover. Besides, TGP treatment helped reversed apoptosis signaling molecules Bcl-2/Bax' reduction; meanwhile improving p-CREBSthe factor of growth signaling in the substantia nigra' decrease.CONCLUSION: These results suggested that TGP can enhance dopaminergic neuron's cell survival in the SNpc in virtue of the activated cAMP/PKA/CREB factor of growth on inhibiting the pathway of second messenger apoptosis as well. In conclusion, the current findings indicate TGP is expected to be a new cure for PD.
